Extremes

If I'm going to go out and take photos every day this month, I might as well change things up a bit. Day-to-day I tend to shoot with a telephoto lens—it's a fast lens so I can shoot quickly/with low light and it makes it means all the shots in my neighbourhood aren't just houses. My friend li had sent me some good photos they had taken on a point-and-shoot, so I decided to bring my smallest lens with me on Friday. It's a tiny plastic lens the size of a phone lens (I guess probably smaller than some modern phone lenses). I wouldn't want to shoot with it exclusively, but I think it takes some moody looking shots. I decided to follow that up by going for a walk on the river today with it and my largest lens—an even larger telephoto lens that I'm not entirely comfortable walking around with. I thought it was a pretty nice day for a walk, but it maybe was a bit colder than I thought because my camera stopped working after a while and I had to take a break at a coffee shop. I would have liked to have swapped between lenses a bit more often but it wasn't really the weather for it. Credit where credit is due, There was at least one occasion where the only way I could get the shot I wanted was from swapping in the tiny lens. Hope you enjoy
